Hi

I am replacing my current tachometer with an autometer sport comp one.

I need to run a wire from the new tacho to the coil on my bug.

Does anyone have an idea what thickness or amps the cable needs to be?

Thanks

Go to the AutoMeter web site and download their instructions. It will tell you what is needed.

18 or 16 gauge stranded wire would be just fine for a tachometer.
