Ign+ in engine bay - where is convenient tap-in?
Or rear of van works too.

83 1/2 the original ignition coil is a good place to get key on power. _________________ ☮️ |

Yeah off the coil but..... Keep in mind that that circuit I believe is not fused, AND a large draw by another load will lower the coil voltage. If this is the case a relay may be desirable.
For me my coil power is from a relay that I added, that relay is fed straight from the battery line on the alternator, so I get a powerful full voltage at my coil. No weak spark for me. Relay activated by the ignition wire.

Black box upper left rear firewall. Isn't that where your Subaru taps in for ignition+? |
