This large technology/transportation museum is located between Heidelberg and Heilbronn, Germany adjacent to the Autobahn 6. I was on vacation to Germany that week to attend the Lottermann Veteranentreffen in Bad Camberg, and took a day to visit the museum. Many WW2-era VWs were located in one of the secondary buildings. Kuebelwagens, Schwimmwagens, and even a Type 82E KdF Beetle using the raised Kuebelwagen suspension. https://sinsheim.technik-museum.de/en/ All photos are from my 35 mm SLR camera with flash, scanned from prints.

It does seem to be extraordinarily high off the ground. You'd need a set of ladders to get in and out of it! |

Interesting.
Where are all the cars from the Lottermann collection today?
Surely it should have been a well publicised thing, it closing down?
Seemed like they had a unique relationship with vw, no one thought to preserve something as a museum, just business, close it.... |

No doubt. Clearly a later split.
On top of all of the other incorrect parts, you can clearly see the rear body mount bracket in the fender well, and the antenna dimple above the windshield, both of which didn't exist for some time.
Impressive collection but tons of incorrect details on just about every vehicle. _________________ Chris
