Ive got a bed out of a early 70s westy, you could probably modify it, they are fairly easy to take apart and customize if you know wood working _________________ Heather Winfrey (Woltz)

I just got done tearing down a full size Z-bed. It was fairly simple. Like 16 screws holding it together. I think if you got your hands on a set of the reclining mechanisms, it would be very easy to make your own bed out of plywood.
This guy is selling the hardware so you can make your own.
