I'm hoping you are still around. I'm looking for a good VW mechanic. My 73 Westfalia needs engine work. I live on Bainbridge Island.
Thanks, Ron |

there used to be a aircooled shop in Bremerton near the hwy3/hwy16 interchange
it's been awhile since I have been over there so not sure if it's still there or not _________________ '60 15 window walkthrough

Ron Moore, look into Helmuts german auto repair on 6th ave in Bremerton. I have taken my bug there a few times and they have been friendly, fast and seem very experienced. They pointed out future problem areas to me every time i have brought the bug in so i can fix them myself before it becomes a big ticket item. |

Helmut? I wonder if this is the same Helmut that used to be in Everett? I'm sure the old guy I used to bug for information and parts has departed but maybe his son? If so he's a very sharp cookie when it comes to VWs if he learned only half of what old man Helmut knew - he was as good as they came with ACVW's. _________________ 71 Ghia Coupe - stock body - no rust! Hello folks,
Not sure if this group is active anymore, but here's my question:
Does anyone know of someone in the Bremerton area who has experience with installing poptop tents? I have a '70 that I'm hoping to sell this year, and need to install an old (but good) canvas tent. Would do it myself but don't have time, and know I'd have to redo it at least 5 times before getting it right
Thanks for any info you can give!
