Is the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem?

I have a problem, I don't have enough money to buy everything I want.

Oh the other problem, ya I don't care about the vw addiction.

Problem solved.

Yes accepting you have a problem is the first, the 2nd is to share your findings with others & not just on here. Shame on you Nice find, just a little jealous. The last type 3 I went to look at was.... a little disappointing. "Missing some parts but good project". I should have took pictures, but thought that would be a waste. Not much left, would need 2 parts cars to put this car as a "missing some parts" car.

Well does fighting (i mean discussing my love for vws of course) with my wife count as telling "others"? She doesn't come on here so it counts in my book.

moving on haha

So i found out this lovely vehicle has a big nut bus trans in it! Gonna try and get it out this weekend so i can sell or trade it for type 3 trans.

who puts a bus trans in type 3!?

Did a little work on it this weekend. pan is solid except for battery area. but stood on the floor and and didnt give. put front fender back on and lines look good. wireing looks to be untouched. sunroof plastics are toast. looks like passanger cable is broken. though i was missing th eheadliner pc but it was tucked inside roof. just missing one reflecter, rear emblems, pass. rear upper interior trim and door trim.

Wow Paul! if I had not gotten myself into the type 34, I would be all over that car. I have enough to build another sunroof square and notch.
