Hello,
I'm wondering if the Samba Experts on here can help me to identify the engine in my 83 WC Westy? Does it look just like a rebuilt 1.9L Vanagon? PO did not provide any documentation for new engine, so I can't say 100% that it isn't original either.

Looks 1.9-ish to me. I’m not saying it’s original, but it looks “stock”… <shrug>
