so i've been dealing with the infamous kadron flat spot or hesitation off idle for weeks now. i picked up a 123 distributor to see if it was timing (it wasn't) but the upgrade from the 009 seems to help a lot. i DL'ed a map for an 034 and it seems to run better but the flat spot was still there.
fast forward to me getting the rebuild kit from jeff at kaddyshack and new scat-style linkage to remove the slop, i took on tearing into the carbs this morning. i found that one carb was missing the check ball valve. you can see (first video) the accellerator pump had no action what so ever.

after putting it the ball valve (second video) and it squirts!

while i had it all apart i went ahead and put in 135 main jets, re-synced and balanced the carbs. idle is a little low but will fix that. i'm now seeing a little sputter only under load and wondering if that's a timing issue? it's def A LOT more drivable now.
