Picked this up from eBay - thought it was a bit quirky and I like the fact it’s got a splittie on it (same as my van).

Are these rare, collectable? Is there a set series of them to collect (the seller had two others but only bought this one.

Yes, they are rare and collectible.

Is there a set? I don't know.

Since it says "Dealer Name and Address" it makes me think these were plates used for a dealer ad sample booklet.
There is a series of those booklets that came out for various years with sample ads.
I have seen a few of those booklets over the years, they are collectible too.

Thanks Everett. The chap selling this one had one for a beetle and one for a commercial single cab split. I fancied the single cab too, but ended up bidding on this one only.
