I just rebuilt the pop-out windows for my Squareback.  For the little black pieces that go over the hinges on the window, are they attached in any way?  Like do they need to remain loose or should they be attached with a little bit of glue?  I've seen other comments online about gluing them.  And I don't want them to fall down into the b-pillar either.

Thanks!

Yes, glue them on or risk them falling into the b-pillar.

I've used just a little bit of super glue. Just something to hold it on there and not allow it to slip off during install.
