Hi guys,
I'm new here. I have an '84, 1.9L water cooled bus. Only owned it since January of 2003, and only got in on the road in July of 2003. Some work I can do, some I can't (I already put a new clutch in it, among other minor repairs. I'm pretty sure, though that it now needs a new CV joint. That, I just don't have the ability to do. I am looking for a great VW mechanic in Massachusetts, preferably on the east end of the state. Anybody know of one? Thanks!
Oh, and is there a really good site online to get VW parts? I've found a few, but more often than not, these places don't have what I need.
Cheers,

For vanagon parts online try Bus Depot, CIP1 or Go Westy! _________________ OG JHC

For work I can't do myself, I take my V-dubs to Greg's VW Repair in Natick, MA (508)647-9749. Greg runs a great shop and frequently works on, and resells Vanagons.
Where are you in Mass?

I live in Wayland (west of Boston) and work in Cambridge.
I think I may have gotten some 12V speedo indicator light bulbs from the place in Somerville last summer. What's the address? |

Vintage Workshop
86 Joy St
Somerville, MA 02143-2154
(617) 776-1900
I'll meet him (Peter) for the first time this Tuesday when I go there to have him replace a CV joint on my '84 bus. I've heard he's the best in the state from some fellow MA bus owners. I'll certainly let you know my impressions of the man, and the place.
