This thread is about Linda Lee, a Dutch 1962 Samba. My friend Pete purchased it in 01/29/1996, enjoyed it, and stored it until he was in the position to start the restoration process.
We will update this thread accordingly.

I love it! What is that stick shift for on the bumper? _________________ 1971 Deluxe Sunroof Bay 1905 stroker, dual idf40's, 74mm Scat forged crank, engle 110 cam. CB 044 heads, AutoCraft rockers, chromoly push rods

The bus has flag post on both sides. The driver's side post is out in the picture. |

Here's the bus the day we disassembled it in 2004. It featured lots of interesting riveted repairs and typical "euro-rust" patters from years of driving on snowy roads.
