How do I remove Super dash round vent tubes???

I bought a dashskin cover for my cracked dash, but I can't seem to get the round vent tubes on either side out. I know there are some retaining tabs, but can't seem to see them. IS there a trick to this? I don't want to damage them if possible. This new dashskin really needs to go in first then the tubes installed after. Thanks!

It's a dash out job unfortunately which is why those dash caps have a recess to sit over the top of the vents.

They have two locking tabs on the back side that need squeezing in to release the vents.
