In 2021 we had our fiberglass bumpers and body cladding repaired and repainted by a reputable paint shop. We assumed it would be the original factory “Cloud Gray Metallic” (LV7N), but when we picked it up the paint was obviously darker. Actually, we liked the new color better and made no issue about it. When I later inquired about the paint code they used, the shop had regretfully failed to record it. Fast forward to 2025. Now with a few road chips on the front bumper I began to search for a color match. Several body shops could do a match via expensive trial and error. One however suggested we check a local FLAPS for a pre-mixed solution. I was skeptical, but was able to find a perfect match (Ford “Dark Shadow Gray Metallic”) in the DupliColor display at O’Reillys. _________________ “Most everyone’s mad here.
