I have a 78 passenger bus with original brown seat covers and search for the right covers for the front seats.
Anybody a good idea what are the right covers and close to the originals?
Who make seat covers and who had the best price?
TMI?
Hope anybody can help me!
Thanks and Best Regards

Have you tried West Coast Metric or Wolfsburg West? _________________ Lead Mechanic: San Diego Air and Space Museum

| My interior guy is an absolute effing GURU when it comes to VW upholstery. He has been doing it for ever. He makes the ones for Go Westy. If you can't ship your seats to Ohio and want to do it yourself...buy the ones from GoWesty. When you talk to them tell them that Bill's seat covers were highly recommended. Hope this helps. |

Are not GoWesty seat covers the same as stock TMI seat covers.? I need a pair for my '70 Westy and thought I might have my local upholstery man simply fit TMI covers to my camper.

TMI makes the ones that most closely resemble the original patterns. But IMO SewFine makes a better product, but it will look different from original.
As for prices, you can poke around, but I think that BusDepot, Wolfsburg West, etc. are all selling the TMI product. Ask.
GoWesty makes repro seat covers for Westies, but that is not what you have. _________________ John

isn't that an oxymoron? Correct covers, close to originals, then who has the cheapest covers.
Get TMI from bus depot. Go to the TMI site and select whether you have square weave or basket weave seats and the color. Scroll down until you see square weave and basket weave swatches.
