I have an air ride (air shocks) on the front (LP beam) and wondering how do others keep from bending the passenger side tie rod? I cut the bump stops off the beam to have the car lower. Now when ever I raise it up a little to high or even jack the front of the car up to work on it my tie rod lays against the bulkhead and bends it. Then that throws my alignment way off. So how are others not bending the tie rods when they jack the car up? I'm thinking of putting limit straps on, but can't really figure out a good place to mount them or what length to get. I have even considered cutting that part of the bulkhead out and welding it back up with a concave for clearance. |

People who do a single bag set up dont get enough lift to bend the tierod, but I assume others just try to avoid lifting it too high. You can notch the frame head, or do some type of cross over steering _________________ its not about what you say you will do oneday, its what you do today that actualy means something. |

I assume the tie rod goes in the top of the spindle. _________________ its not about what you say you will do oneday, its what you do today that actualy means something. |

Leave the tie rod bent and get the car aligned. |
