Hey All,
Just finished rebuilding my 1979 2.0l CA engine and have hooked it all back up. I am having a problem however with the wiring. The PO had the black wire going to terminal 15 on the coil from the Ignition Control Unit however on the wiring diagram it has it going to the double relay? I can't seem to find the connection it shows. Here's a pic for reference.
I am also trying to figure out where this wire from the double relay 88a is suppost to go, it has a connector on it and is spliced in with another wire.
And just for kicks can't for the life of me figure out where the white wire coming out of the fire wall is suppost to go and can't seem to identify it on the wiring diagram.

Are you sure that loose spliced in wire isn't 88e?, that's where the black wire should connect according to this:
Click on it to make it big.
As for the other single white wire down low, where does the other end go?, could it be for camping equipment or that dealer A/C? _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.
Please don't PM technical questions, ask your problem in public so everyone can play along. If you think it's too stupid post it here

had to use the flash but it looks like you are correct. looks like 88e is the middle prong. |
