Headlight switch with fog lights no longer available
7D0-941-531-01C
Jetta MkII switch apparently identical, however

The direct replacement switch was fairly hard to find as VW stopped making them a while back and supply is a bit shy from used Eurovans. As it turns out it is a direct match with the 93-99 VW JETTA MK3 Headlight Switch (OEM 1HM 941 531P). Plugged right in and fit perfectly in the dash slot! |

The cast exhaust manifold for the 1993 EV is NLA. I found a new old stock one for $750 but it will probably crack where all the others have. This is how I got mine going:

This breaks my heart for my 2002 Weekender:

Look at all those NLA items under hoses and pipes. Mine just broke 100,000 miles this week, but it can't last forever. _________________ ----

Yes. My ECM was replaced by the dealership about 10 years ago with NOS, and I'm wishing I had kept the old part to have it re-manufactured with new capacitors. My TCM is original and is probably the weekest link. None of the module rebuilders I have checked with for a spare have one in stock. My local dealership support is about to dry up, because they don't have the time to research part substitutes. I may not sleep well tonight. _________________ ----

This part cost me a great deal of time troubleshooting hot-start issues with no other symptoms or codes. Part number 022103474A - crankcase breather hose. Had a hairline crack impossible to find.
I've reached out to every distributor I could find, and paid for 2 of them that were listed by distributors on Ebay and Amazon, and both refunded my payment because they had listings but no stock.
I repaired my original as best as possible, but ultimately if I don't find a used one, I'll have to create my own version of this part, saving the special end connectors. |

Did you ever get a workaround or find one? Mine was so brittle
It shattered the second I put my hand near it getting ready to pull my intake manifold. _________________ 2001 EV MV |

The N115 EVAP canister valve (7D0906515) is NLA from VW. A generic replacement Dorman 911-803 Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid is a drop in replacement.

I broke mine as well and was able to fix it was a large piece of heat shrink tubing. I patched it with some of that self-clinging flex seal type tape, then put a big piece of heat shrink tubing over the majority of the tube and it's been working great.
