I am having an issue with my 1600 DP in my 71 running on the lean side. When I try to richen it up it doesnt seem to run as good. I have read online that the Bocar 34's can be jetted on the lean side. I have an old parts Solex 34 and was wondering if I can steal the jets from it and run them in the Bocar? Will the fit/work?
The throttle shaft is tight in the Bocar carb as well |

| I ended up swapping the jets and the bus ran alot better and not as hot. The tail pipe before was so clean you would have thought it had a catalytic converter. The exhaust was crazy hot too |

Bocar carbs often have very raggedy machining, with swarf all over the place. A jet could easily have been
partially plugged, creating leanness. _________________ '67 bug: seized by the authorities
