Great video. So many cool buses in there. I think I need to watch it a few more times, I'm sure I missed something.

I don't even know what that means, but I think it has something to do with college. _________________ Confusious say it takes it takes two wipes to know you need three, but it takes three wipes to know it only needed two. |

I like the pressed bumper/overrider fried-egg combo buses. _________________ It's not how wide your hatch is, it's what you do with it.

Marcos, nice video. That first song was like what? Xaviar Cugat maybe? My Dad used to play that on his "HI FI".
The things I noticed: That line of ambulances, the standards w/ lower panels and roofs in light colors w/ the windows and nose in dark. (that's how I have my PGSG)
Singer and Kelloggs. The "Book-Mo-Bus" and Mr Tool guy. and the limos.
Great stuff. thnx for posting. _________________ in order

that video is great. My friends think that i am funny cuz I always have Brazilian jazz cranking in my splits. Not that my busses are brazilian, there's just something sexy about Astrud Gilberto, Elis Regina and a splitty that go hand in hand!
download the song Aquas de beber (Astrud Gilberto version) and play it in your split next time your crusin when the sun is out and bus is rollin cool, doesn't get any better then that

This video is not mine, a friend just sent me the link today.
Here in Argentina there are few brazilian split buses, but less than germans and we don't have so much information about them.
And I don't know about the song's name too
remember that Brazil and Argentina are two different countrys _________________ 52 Ambulance

from 1953 to 1957 it was built using CKDs (around 550 buses), from june of 1957 50% or more of the car/parts was already produced in Brazil, officially this 00001 bus that appears on the video was the first VW made in Brazil.
the first song is "Aquarela do Brasil" I think.
great video! |

Thanks for sharing.
are busses hard to find down there now? and the jazz was a nice touch, I can see why it would be cook to cruise with.
I particularly liked the 6 door busses |

even before 1953 some buses were imported to Brazil, since 1950 when Brasmotor (the first importer of VWs in Brazil) imported some buses but mostly beetles,
Barndoors are really really rare and hard to find here...
but there is a (small) number of known 1950-1955 buses in Brazil.
VWs from the 1950's are in general very hard to find in Brazil now, |
