Is it out of gear? The shifter in neutral, that is.

Additionally, stored under what conditions? Outdoors? Covered?
Did you take the fan belt off?
Remove the spark plugs; It's hard to overcome the compression stroke w/ plugs in.
Was it "running when parked"? Laughing

If those don't work use some marvels mystery oil, ATF, PB blaster - something similar in each cylinder, down the intake also - then be patient and keep turning it by hand.

I just had a "sized" engine and had it running in a day.

Stay calm. It'll be fine unless you abused it.

just had good luck wit a 50 / 50 mix of acetone and ATF (from a hotrod forum) got the #2 piston out of a 1940 hercules flathead that sat for 10 years with 1/2 gallon of water in the oil.. yes it ran when parked...it laughed at conventional penetrating oils....pour it in the plugholes with a piece of fuel line and a funnel and let it sit at least 2 weeks, top off as needed....dont force anything, you can bend a rod
