Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone has or can take a pic of where the assist strap attaches, with no headliner in.
I know the general area but with the headliner in place and trying to feel where I need to poke through scares me a bit.
if I can see a pic I will have a better idea of where I'm feeling
thanks Russ _________________ Cruiser pedals for sale (see my ad's)

My headliner's in place but I can give you a few measurements that might help.
The two screws that fasten the assist strap are located side by side, .85" apart. Measuring down from the edge of the interior light, I get 1.70". Measuring back from the seam between the headliner material and the plastic edging to the nearest screw, I get 1.10". _________________ '63 Ragtop (current)

Once you have the general location, using a sewing needle to poke around looking for the mounting hole is pretty easy on the fabric. |

for sure, once I touched the piece I was able to poke a tiny hole in it to find the spot.

Raised head countersunk M4x18 machine screw up through chassis number 117 290 084, after that it's a 4.8x25 tapping screw. _________________ 1960 Ragtop w/Semaphores "Inga" |
