|

Just wondering if anyone has any insight into how the kick-down switch works on my 99 EV throttle cable. The value should indicate at 95% throttle opening in measured values via the scanner or close when isolated using a meter. Mine does neither so I ordered a new one. Wiring is OK as I can see the value by jumping the connector and viewing the appropriate value block.
New cable/switch came in from VW and when I bench check it with my meter the switch seems to do nothing. The cable moves in and out of the housing like any throttle cable would with no apparent connection to the switch. Not really what I was expecting. What am I missing here?? _________________ Why do it? Because you can.
