So precisely I posted that I am going with a 1679. Today, I decided to go a different direction. I called the short block builder and decided on a scat c25 cam with stock crank, 1600 Mahler pistons and rebuilt sp stock heads. The question is this:
Can I run a scat C25 cam with all other components (to include 30 pict-3 and screamer 019 electronic points dist) and have a good motor? I have a set of rocker shafts with swivel balls in the rocker arms that I was going to run. I should mention that the case is a AS41 Brazilian case, crank, rods. Thanks for the feedback.
(Edited to mention the Brazilian stuff) _________________ John

I'd use a SVDA but that's just me. _________________ one, two, many

Looks like a nice easy set up. If you feel the need to part with the or swap out and even trade me the 019 for one of my SVDA's let me know. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.
Numbers Matching VW's are getting harder to find. Source out the most Stock vehicle and keep that way. You will be glad you did.
