This is an urgent call for anyone who know of a machanic in the Portland/Tigard area who can finish building and instaling my new engine before next weekend! Our current mechanic is sick and probiboly won't get it done before then. We'd like to have it ready by the 28th so we can make it to the show in Washington. Anyone who knows of someone please let me know! Thanks so much!

It's a 1776, It just needs to be assembled. Neither mcgdo or I are "mechanically inclined" when it comes to that stuff. We want it done right! I believe we have all the parts....just need then put together. We also have a FF tranny that we'd like put in but the engine if #1 right now.
Rizz do you know of someone?

Actually Rizz isn't that far from me. Salem is about 20 mins from my house. Maybe I'll just give up wanting to take the camper out to the show this weekend and we'll hit up the next one.... Anyone know when the next one is? And where?

FUCK RIZZAG!!!!! IF YOUR GONNA GO ALL THE WAY TO SALEM TO HAVE HIM ASSEMBLE AN ENGINE..JUST TAKE IT TO NATE AT WAGENS WEST.HE WILL PROBABLY DO IT FOR LESS,,BETTER QUALITY WORK,AND IT WILL MAKE IT FARTHER THAN THE END OF YOUR DRIVEWAY BEFORE IT LAUNCHES A ROD THROUGH THE SIDE OF THE CASE.......

with a post like this, you are either nate or a friend of nate's. if you think an attack like this makes wagenswest look good you are sadly mistaken. anyway, around here it is falling on deaf ears because most people here know i do very nice work.

i had rizzag rebuild the front beam in my '67 and am very happy with the results. aside from completely going through it, he even painted it and it looks top notch. fast, fair price, and quality. he does good work.

take your negativity elsewhere.

Jeff Vidal is a great mechanic he learned from one of the best (Greg Holland) of Holland's Wagen works in Salem Jeff is also very good at many mechanical tasks having to do with Volkswagens !

So for the record I don’t know the person that is rubbing Jeff's name in the dirt and I don’t agree with it.

I don't know who that dipshit is, but Jeff does great work. If this is how wagenswest drums up business, they will never see a dime of my money.

thank you nate. i believe nate on this one, its probably someone that nate did some work for and thinks he is helping nate out but posting like that. little does he know it has the opposite effect on most level headed people.
