1975 double cab Seat upholstery color

Had to replace the front seat 2/3 bench upholstrey and ordered the 1968-76 Bus * Grey Basket Weave Vinyl that seemed to match based on picture on TMI site.

Found out the hard way that this was not the right color. So sent a sample of my seat to my local vendor supplying TMI products in Norway and they could not find that it was mathcing any of the TMI Basketweave colors.

Based on the sample I sent it seems like black is the closest to matching my color.

Here's the rear bench(same color as front) it's defenetly not black.
Are there colors that VW produced that is not sold by TMI?

It looks like you are stuck with black, at least from that supplier.

It may be worth considering replacing all the seat covers, except that the rear one is in such good shape. If it were me, I'd go with fabric instead of vinyl, like I did on my '75 single cab. Mine were originally beige vinyl. These seat covers were made by Sewfine.

But then, I live in a hot climate where vinyl is just plain uncomfortable.
