Hi, thanks for letting me join the forum.

We have a 1971 Superbug and have put the ISP speedo/fuel guage combo in it.

All works great except for a weird issue with the Hi Beam indicator!

When the ignition is off, the Hi Beam light works, as soon as we turn the ignition on, the indicator wont work anymore, even though there is power to the indicator! It's doing my head in! If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you

I don't even know what an ISP speedo is but I know what the fault might be. When the ignition is turned on the light will have 12v on both the centre terminal of the lamp and the outer case. You have plugged the Hi Beam lamp in the correct hole in the speedo not the indicator hole or the oil or gen holes?

Thanks for the reply. Yes it is wired correrctly. The oil and generator lights work as they should, and go out when the engine is started.

The Hi Beam light (these are LED's I think) is a separate wire to the others. As I said, it works as normal when the high beam is turned on without ignition on.

Sounds like you have power for the light coming from the wrong place. Only way is to get a wiring diagram and a meter and follow the paths
