Hey gang,
I've got a 1990 weekender/multivan. Last weekend I installed the GoWesty headlight relay kit; pretty stoked with the improvement that delivered.
Unfortunately I seem to have killed my running lights. I have blinkers, brake lights, and headlights, but no running lights.
I had a heck of a time getting enough space to work with in the fuse panel when doing the relays, and I think I may have disconnected the running lights accidentally.
I dropped the fuse panel to have a look and I found a couple of connections that look to be either unplugged or abandoned.
Any thoughts on what these connecters go to ?
THANKS!
This is a shot from underneath the fuse panel

That connector does not look stock.
Are you saying no running lights, front OR rear?
Front grounds run to the grounding stars on the A pillar up above the fuse box.
Possibly knocked loose &/or compromised during your relay work - check carefully.
Rear grounds are on the left side of engine bay below the coil - separate issue, similar symptom.
Check it out & keep us posted...

Thanks Dave,
Right, I don't have front or rear running lights.
The connector in the second picture in the original post seemed to plug back in to the slot above the "53" cube. But did not fix the running lights.
I'll check the grounds.

Looks like I snipped a wire when doing the relays.
Sometimes, no matter how careful, I can still be dumb as a box of rocks. _________________ 1990 Multivan/Weekender Auto 3.27 R&P 4-speed Manual / SAH 1.8T |

First rule:"Do no harm"...
Glad you got it figured. Nice to add the relays.
Now I'm wondering what that connector is for...??? _________________ 86 White Wolfsburg Westy Weekender

That is the sub-harness for the radiator fan 2nd speed.
