I'm not hugely into custom cars, but have to say that in its previous life, it looks superb. Understated, but with plenty of urge, but did it have the means to bring it to a halt just as quickly?

If its the same VW, it was owned by one of the Cooker's from Cooker's VW in Clearspring, MD. It was for sale several years ago on here. It should be nice given the quality of their restorations. Saw the car at the first Simple Transport show in Hagarstown, MD. - It was about near flawless as you can get and that engine was a monster.
