I think my rear wiper fluid reservoir is leaking but I can't find a way to remove the interior panel without destroying it. Any recommendations? I did search but couldn't come up with anything.

Thanks in advance.

what is the problem?

did you pop off any covers and remove the screws?

did you search on rear washer tank, etc. to find threads on this?

S/He's only 8 posts new so probably needs a little help finding the info s/he needs. I'm sure you'll find your answer. I've not had to remove that panel but it'll be straightforward.

Haven't removed this particular panel but have done several other interior panels. Usually there are no visible screws but if there are, removing them is obvious. Most panels are held by plastic clips that wedge into holes in the hardboard part of the panel, around the edges and on large panels some are in the middle. The clips snap into holes in the metal panel. To get them to release, it is best to pry around the clip with a fork type tool as shown in the post above. Slide the tool around under the panel until you find a clip. Be easy and try to get the clip captured in the fork and pry gently up. The clips are old & brittle and it's easy to break the head off or pull it thru the panel board. Look in the area where the panel & seat come together to see if it's captured under a mounting point for the seat. If not, you're clear or you may have to remove the seat.
Work slowly & with patience.
Good Luck,
Tom

Thank all for the replies. I got it off without breaking any clips. I should have been more specific in my question. I was hoping I didn't have to pop out the two rivets in the back that are for the bug net...in the end I drilled them out and will put in new rivets when I'm done.
