Recently acquired this 64 sunroof microbus. I am wondering if anyone recognizes it. It definitely has some distinctive features.

Sunroof kombi! Mmmmm my favorite. Nice find. I’m sure someone out there remembers that name on the dash. Tell us more of the story.

Since this was originally posted I have been trying to figure out the origin of the tail lights. Thanks farmer bill for (pardon the pun)shedding some light on the subject.

Tail lights are an easy enough fix and may have saved the bus from being rear ended and scrapped.

I don't mind the taillights, they'd look sweet if you threw on some meaty slot mags.

Awesome, congratulations. I own a bus that is very close to yours, an original paint SWR/BG sunroof standard. It looks like yours was built about two months before my bus. Here are a few pictures of mine.
