| WCC isn't my style, and it's a basic hack (roof windows, not 21/23 though), just weird looking. Wavy floors, just interesting to see a different perspective. |

The end result wasn't too horrible, and at least it started as some cobbled together shell and not a pristine OG bus! The glass in the sunroof area was kinda dumb yet kinda cool. Bet it heats up inside like a greenhouse though! _________________ 1973 Superbeetle: 1st car, owned since age 12. Update thread --> https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=9919140#9919140

Here's what WCC started with. It was straight, but hacked to begin with.

I watched all the way to the end to see this carnage; it seemed like there were more commercials than 'show'.
If you haven't seen it, save yourselves the agony, it's bad. A glass roof on the top of a 19 window, narrow hatch, all black bus. It seems like it would be a microwave oven on wheels. _________________ "OG = Original German" -- TheSamba.com dictionary |

Watched it tonight.
Quite frankly, i think we can't say anything bad about what they did. If we believe what was told in the show, the guy had it restored by someone, who didnt complete it, and turned to WCC to have it done to his taste. I have to admit that the glass sunroof is f*ugly, but that's about the only thing i'd say that isnt nice, or at least, steampunk like the guy asked.
And man, i can't get enough of those chrome machine. It's so amazing to watch something getting chromed like that. _________________ 1964 Turkis Flipseat |

I liked the exterior but not too excited about the interior. The headlights were cool as well as the bronze technique. _________________ 73 914 2.0 - sold

| They were fumbling pretty good on getting the motor started. I don't get the install without the tin. I guess that was for the camera. It was evident the guy didn't know how to static time it as he had that distributor all over the place while it was being cranked over. |

| Yep, for the camera, the way he finally got it fired, and ran it in for 20 or 30 seconds (or more?) without a fan or tin...nice break-in run. And at the reveal, the cool looking but completely useless mirrors on the doors (placed ridonkulously low). But interesting product nonetheless. Wonder if he'll be showing it this summer. |
