|

Just installed the relatively new KC Titan dot legal driving lights. They’re currently on sale for Black Friday. Highly recommend to supplement the crappy stock rectangular lights. Just drove up to Tahoe in a snow storm at night and they were a life saver. They have an amber dust light option and a white light driving pattern option.
I currently have the dust light option hardwired and use it as a DRL. Also I have amber covers on top of that to cut glare in fog and snow. They’re wired to a Porsche rear fog light switch I have installed in the stock location under the hazard light. |

Not sure which lights he is talking about, but it would have to be one h--- of a sale to get an $800-$1600 light down to where I would be willing to buy it. |

I've made it a lifetime policy since I was a teenager never to purchase an auxiliary automotive lamp whose manufacturer does not provide a diagram of the beam pattern. That's what you're paying for - right? The actual places the actual light goes is the beginning and the end of what you're buying, right?
As a result, I've never bought a lamp that did not have the Hella logo on it.
Even on the Hella sight, they seem to be doing this less now, sadly. People have been buying lamps for what the lamp looks like for so long even Hella seems to be tiring of spending the money. _________________ 1987 2WD Wolfsburg Vanagon Weekender "Mango", two fully locked 80 Series LandCruisers. 2017 Subaru Outback boxer. 1990 Audi 90 Quattro 20V with rear locking differential, 1990 burgundy parts Vanagon. 1984 Porsche 944, 1988 Toyota Supra 5 speed targa, 2002 BMW 325iX, 1982 Toyota Sunrader |
