Just curious, but does a 1300 or bigger engine fit in an early 50's beetle? If so, what has to be done? I have always been curious. |

Yes. Depends on what you want to shove in there. The car below could run with a decklid with only a small hole cut out for the turbo besides the mods for fitting the engine of course

... 40 horse and larger engine has heater box connecters that are taller and do not clear the fire wall, when pushing the engine in place... many times one has to cut the wall to get the engine in or install the boxes after the engine is in or eliminate the boxes, in favor of J-tubes. _________________ 5/50, pastel green 11G - SOLD
