The 71 vert purchased about a month ago is missing the charcoal canister and the line and clips that go under the fender and under the heater channel into the front of the car. It does have the fuel evaporation system under to trunk area. Just grabbed a charcoal canister but have been unable to find used or aftermarket clips for holding the line under the fender and under the heater channels. Does anyone know a source for these clips?

Search the Samba Classifieds--Type 1 bug 1968 and up. Or put in w WTB ad in the same section.

Maybe you could fashion something like this and secure the vapor line with wrap ties. The original equipment on mine is only on every other floor pan bolt. Just an idea........

Found someone in Kansas that was just removing his charcoal canister and lines willing to let go of his canister and all fender and floor pan clips for just the shipping charge.
