|
|
Hi
I have a 6V '61 beetle with the original ZV/PAU 4R5 distributor. Last time I looked at so-called 6V condensers for the distributor they were very pricey compared to the condensers I put in my '77 bus.
Question is, can I take one of my 12V bus condensers, mod the wire and stick it in the beetle? Cheers!

You can use the same condenser on both 6v and 12v engines.
You can use a Bosch 02 006 condenser and they cost under $10.
