On my 1990 Vanagon I'm trying to remove the lock cylinder from the sliding door handle so I can code it and have all my locks work on the same key.. I found one set screw and removed it but that didn't seem to do anything, the lock cylinder is still really in there.

Did I miss something else or is it just stuck?

Yup, probably just gummed up with old dry grease.

Thanks for the link! Though I forgot to mention that I don't have the key for the sliding door lock cylinder.. Will it still slide out or are they tumblers in the way?

*edit*
The cylinder did just push right out with some force, it was just tightly in there from caked grease
