How far off center is too far? I set up the one rocker arm that has no more room for adjustment without grinding down the side, and shimmed the rest to match as close as possible. I want them off center to help rotate the valve, I just want to be sure they aren't TOO far off center. I'll probably get them a little closer to even with each other once I start tightening everything down and set the final gap. But for now, how does this look?

Some look pretty good, and others not. I would try to get the ones off closer to center. If I remember right, you are supposed to aim for 1mm ( .040" ) offset between the adjuster and the valve centerlines.

I’ve found that torquing the rockers down can have an effect on the end product.
Maybe add some nuts?

Hmmm, I didn't know it was that tight, To get to .040" I will definitely have to sand down the sides of the rockers.

Don’t grind the rocker. If you have to grind anything grind the blocks. You can use regular sandpaper on a piece of glass to make sure it’s flat.
Also, I’ve found that I had to use some of the stock shims as they are thinner than the ones that come in the solid shaft kits.

You want if offset... it spins the valve stem that way, wears better. Resist all temptation to get them centered.

Shim end play for rocker arms to loose zero.
