Hello peeps,
So I 've got a 2.1 caravelle that I'm getting out of a prolonged sleep to sell it.
The car alays started impeccably but all of a sudden refuses to start There is gas arriving to the injectors and the injectors work fine, but somehow I thing the spark is too weak....any ideas becouse I've already cleaned all the connectors, change the distributor cap an rotor and even swapped out the ignition coil and now I'm out of ideas... |

How large a gap will the spark jump at the spark plug end of the wires? |

Hello, sorry for the late response; the spark jumps for about 1 cm (almost half an inch). |

That's a good spark (I usually judge it by how high my wife jumps when I crank the engine).
Since you worked with the cap & rotor - have you confirmed the plugs wires are correctly connected?

Hello, thanks for your replies; my caravelle starts again, I 've replaced the fuel regulator and everything is fine now. |

So the issue was the fuel regulator or the plug wires?
Thanks,

Fuel regulator was letting too much gas through and flooded the engine. |
