Hi, I'm living way down south in Tasmania and am having some troubles sourcing parts for changing the Cam in my 2lt engine to using hydrolic lifters. Im surprised how difficult it has been to find accessory items for this. Specifically the correct Push Rods and Rocker Arm kit. Given I will probably need to source the parts from the US I was hoping one of you locals could suggest some places/websites that stock them.
Cheers

Embarassed thats a big job- I've gone the other way and found the special cam, stronger valve springs quality lifters and a solid oil pump- and securing the correct oil pressure relief valve a real pain- your collection of solid rocker spacers and steel shorter push rods is just the beginning- -- I changed mine because they wouldn't pump up- discovered mis-matched push rods and soft lifter faces- not to mention the 165# compression- (Thank you GEX) Many companies here in the states have those components but shipping would be a killer.

Have you checked any breaker yards on the Island? Might be you have to go used- for your parts.

Rocker spacers and adjustable push rods are available through The Type 4 Store and other sources in the US. If you don't want to do your shopping half way around the world, I would think that the adjustable pushrods would be available somewhere close to you and that you could have a machine shop turn out a set of spacers for not too much.
