Hello all,
I'm looking for the best option to convert the Euro fittings in my van to North American propane bottle. Anybody have any experience with this or know of a shop that can do this? I'm in Vancouver...
Thanks in advance,
Ken

I'm no propane expert, but I think you're going to need a new (US) propane can and regulator. All else should work fine. Which Vancouver are you in? I'd take it to an RV place - because I'm no expert _________________ '90 White Westy ("The Longship")

Ditto the last. I work in residential LP systems and best to stop in at an RV place at least for advise.
Nothing really fancy nor expensive needed - a US style regulator and bottle with POL fittings. They will need to make up a hose with US threads for your new regulator on one one end and one with metric threads connections for the European manifold connection - or replace that too.
Curious, is the bottle hooked up inside the van? Would want to make sure that area with the bottle and regulator is sealed from the inside area and vented to the outside. _________________ '91 Westfalia, Bordeaux Red Pearl 2.1L 2wd Auto
