Hi there. After over an hour's search, I am humbly giving up.
Someone put up dimensions for the hardware placement of the brackets for a (77?) Riviera Bus. Well, my bookmarks are lost and I can't find that post.
After spraying the floor, I am reinstalling the rear brackets with new bolts.
I'd like the distance between the two brackets - I plan to make the bed full width, so I'm wondering if the original bracket placement should be a bit further apart from each other?
Also, how far are the brackets on the floor from the sloping back?
Originally they were bolted onto the corrugated floor - was it on the "hills or valleys" of the floor? Does it matter?
When bolting down, has anyone used rubber sealing washers to prevent any leaking water from underneath?
Thanks so much...Ron _________________ "because he had no place he could stay in without getting tired of it and because there was nowhere to go but everywhere, keep rolling under the stars..."

I have no idea what the measurements are but I did find this thread

That last post from SG helped a lot - now I'd like to know what the sweet spot is to bolt down the brackets on the floor, from the back.
And is it better to bolt to a high spot, low spot or should I run the new plywood floor right to the back?
Anyone? _________________ "because he had no place he could stay in without getting tired of it and because there was nowhere to go but everywhere, keep rolling under the stars..."

I have another query - My old cushion that covered the motor area was thicker than the cushions on the folding rear seat. Were all the Rivieras designed to be like this, or, is the placement of my rear seat brackets changing the plane to make a level surface between the open seat and the rear cushion? _________________ "because he had no place he could stay in without getting tired of it and because there was nowhere to go but everywhere, keep rolling under the stars..."
