I got this watch way back circa 1995. I know it was for the Trek VW collaboration when VW sponsored the Trek rocket boy mountain bike racing team. They were a favorite to have team riders in the Atlanta summer Olympic Games, the first year for mountain biking in the games.
I was a Trek dealer back then a got it at a Trek trade show in Atlanta during the spring. It was the only one I have seen to include at the show. I have done searches on the internet and can’t even find another picture of one. I have got to believe that there are more of these out there. Does anyone know about these does anyone have one?
This one is NOS in the box so maybe the only one left in existence still in the box?

I hope it runs better than the Jettas of that era. _________________ Glenn

Couldn’t tell you, it’s literally never been out of the box. _________________ Looking for anything from Hal Casey Motors out of Hamburg New York, from license plate surrounds to matchbooks.

Well for anyone interested I did find some information
After calling Trek Bicycles and speaking a sales rep he said send pics as he had no idea what it was either. But the fact that he was only a year old when these were made didn’t help matters much.
After emailing the pics he shared them with other “older” sales reps here is what I got so far.
Here is his response.
(I've shared the images with my team! Our Manager actually has one of those watches and is going to take a look into it over the weekend. The watch itself is nothing special outside of it was a marketing/advertising piece for the Trek VW team. It was not available to the public is and was only available to staff/vendors and was not publicly marketed or sold.
The boxing and condition of that watch are impressive for the time it's spent in storage.
If our manager digs up more information on the watch over the weekend I will be able to share it with you on Monday or Tuesday.)
If I learn more I’ll post it up here. _________________ Looking for anything from Hal Casey Motors out of Hamburg New York, from license plate surrounds to matchbooks.
