My insurance company (USAA) will not insure my newly acquired Eurovan Camper because they now classify it as an RV. This is a change from a few years ago when they did insure my previous EVC.
Any recommendations on a good insurance company?
Thanks! |

I just had the same conversation with USAA. They didn't know what to do. So I ended up calling Geico. When I gave them my VIN, they couldn't find it in their system. They transferred me to their RV specialist where I ended up getting insurance. It looks to me that they consider the Camper model a Class C RV. |

Just updating this old thread.
I've bought a 2001 Eurovan Winnebago camper.
My usual insurer for the past 30 years, USAA, will not insure it. The VIN will not register in their system.
USAA now partners with Progressive to offer RV insurance. This is probably the necessary step for any USAA customer wanting to insure their EVC Winnebago.
The USAA site took me to an associated Progressive quote generator. With agreed value, comprehensive, and all the trimmings, the rate was competitive with USAA. I'm pleased and will try it for a year.
