Delete caps for bumper shocks?

I saw a late model SB that had no front bumper and the shock mounts were removed from the front. in its place were basically the rubbergrommet or seals but they were solid (like a delete plug or cap). they were black and was courious if anyone knew of a supplier of these caps or if this was likely a custom job? neat if you want the look but wanted the option of addinG it back. thx

I have a set of these on my '78, I got them from GLENN here on the Samba, wife saw them and wanted them for her bug, I just happened across them in the classifieds. Best I can suggest is keep looking but I haven't seen another set anywhere....
