|
|
I have been searching the forums but can't seem to locate instructions on how to install this reach bench seat in my 72. The previous owner had the benches removed and installed carpet, but didn't have them remounted. I have some hardware, but am having difficulty putting it back together. Any help would be amazing. Thanks!

That's what you need. |
I might be wrong but are those just plain screw type hose clamps holding the seat on? If so you might want to unadjust the brakes so it won't stop fast. |
Ha! That's how they were installed. Check out the instructions:
One of the floor plates comes with a threaded stud so you can use a stock seat clamp to make it more secure when in seat mode. |
This is from my gallery:

Upon further investigation, it looks like I only have one of the triangle hinges and it looks like the front mounting plate has been smashed down....Am I screwed or can I salvage this install?
