Before putting the interior back into my bus, I want to seal up the hole in the floor that the sink drain goes through. I'm putting the sink cabinet back in, but I'm removing the sink and water tank in favour of additional storage

What do you guys think I should do to plug the hole? Weld in a small plate? Fibreglass? Other ideas?
Should I plug both the hole in the floor and the one in the pan beneath?

I just sealed mine with heavy aluminum tape. A couple pieces and good to go. Then sound deadening over that then the pieces for the floor. . I wouldn't do anything permanent.
