Van: 1984, no tach.
Issue: I'm looking to install an aftermarket tach, specifically the Auto Meter 2306. I'm under the impression that vans *with* factory tach installed, are associated with a green wire running from the coil to the dashboard.
Questions:
1) Is the green arrow below pointing to said wire? Or is that headed elsewhere?
2) With regards to the blue arrow, how does one generally make a connection to the coil, given the large plastic connector in place?
As always, thank you!

yes green arrow goes to dash for tachometer.
You can unscrew the spade connector from the coil and add another one to make some kind of dual connector with 2 wires. Some coils are equipped like that. _________________ Silicone Steering Boots and 930 Cv boots for sale in the classifieds.

Nice!
I've yet to peek under the dash, any chance you know where I'll find it? |

Brickwerks sell these nice pods LHD & RHD for early vans needing rev counters or for any other 52mm gauge for that matter.
