This guy seeked me out through a few of my WTB adds. He sent me pictures and prices.
He had good parts at good prices and reasonable shipping.
Very good communication, and even through in all the screws, nuts, washers, and mounting hardware for the stuff I bought from him. The stuff arived pretty quickly to NJ.
I was very surprised he had some of the stupid little BS parts I was looking for.
I thought for sure I'd have to search junkyards myself because who inventories washers for a seatbelt anchor point?
I will definately seek Ken first if I need something I can't find locally. _________________ 1974 Tintop with a nice rack

Over the last year I've bought a variety of both small and larger items from Ken. In each and every case, his prices were fair, photos showed the condition well, he packed things for shipment well and sent out quickly, and the items arrived in exactly the condition he represented them to be.
Hands down, the best used parts guy I've had the pleasure to deal with. Others could learn from him. |

I purchased a '69 bare bus beam from Ken. He was very helpful with making sure I got the correct beam. I will do business again. Thanks Ken for a great transaction. |

I bought a bus enginelid from Ken. It was in almost mint condition and surely was value for money.
Also carefully wrapped and no problem with overseas shipping.
All in all just a great buy, I would buy again from Ken. |

Even more great feedback for Ken! He always has way more parts than are shown on his inventory website, so be sure to email and ask. He is always prompt in replying, has good condition parts, good prices, great care in shipping. If he's got it, it's probably one of the best places to get it! This time it was a driver's side door contact switch, a little different from the common ones. Thanks again Ken! _________________ ---------------------------------

Bought a earlier bus front beam from Ken a few weeks ago and had him ship it to a friend's. It is exactly as described and looking good. Great comms with Ken throughout the process and appreciate his level of service. Cheers! _________________ ,,Wenige Menschen denken, und doch wollen alle entscheiden.'' -der Alte Fritz

Just bought a vent wing window from Ken. Communication was excellent, shipping was fast, glass was packed well. No complaints, recommended seller.
Will buy again from The Bus Co without hesitation. _________________ DAC

Saw a horn that I needed and contacted Ken. Quick response, quick pack and ship (and well packed!) and the part arrived promptly. I installed it today and now the SC sounds like a bus and not a strangled duck.
Thanks, Ken! _________________ Larry in OB

I asked Ken about a rear shock mount. He replied with photos of the part already removed. Exactly what I've been looking for (Even the right color)
He included his Paypal link so the purchase was requested via e-mail, removed, displayed in color, accepted, paid for, shipped, and on its way within 3 days.
For a price I could not refuse
I'm gonna write him right now to get more stuff.

Just bought and installed a rear latch for a '73 bus. Ken Madson with The Bus Company replied quickly to all of my questions, he shipped out as quick as physically possible. Great service, will buy from again. Price was great for this quality used part.
Thank You Ken,

I had to search around for this feedback thread on Ken. I thought it was important that you guys know what a great resource he is for us Bay Window owners. Ken himself drives one and he knows what he's talking about. Don't go by the inventory listed on his web site though. It's best to just call him or send him an email. He's good at communicating. Fast shipping at fair prices. I've never personally met Ken because he lives near Seattle and I'm in San Diego but that doesn't mean we haven't done lots of business and even had long phone conversations. Some of my VW buddies have met Ken and say he's a great guy so if you need Bay parts, call Ken. _________________ Lead Mechanic: San Diego Air and Space Museum
