|

Hey guys,
We broke down on the side of the road close to Merritt BC and I was wondering if anyone had a mechanic recommendation out that way?
Van quit driving about 80km per hour. Wouldn’t start back up.
We tested the ECU and FP relays, tested for fuel. Followed Bentley procedure and electrical and everything seemed good. In previous posts, you’d see that I’ve replaced a ton of sensors, cleaned grounds and replaced straps and wires. I didn’t test hall sender.
We’re being towed right now to Merritt and hopefully we can be back on the road tomorrow! Really appreciate the recommendations or feedback. |

Also, sorry- it cranks. And it’s a 1986 Vanagon.
Cheers! |

Don, you’re a hero and a total lifesaver. The van is running tip top and we made the ferry!
For everyone else out there, it was the hall sender! We’re back on the road and we’ve made it to our destination thanks to Don (and his awesome wife) in Merritt. Can’t thank you enough.
We shall pay it forward |
